She was a print journalist with the Houston Chronicle for three years, and a staff reporter included in the publication’s selection as a finalist for the Pulitzer Prize in Breaking News Reporting in 2018, for its coverage of Hurricane Harvey. Jaimy holds a Bachelor of Arts in communications studies from University of Houston – Clear Lake.
