The service center contains the latest and most advanced instrumentation and trained personnel provide sample preparation services and analysis of research specimens. Mass spectrometry instruments are operated by our trained staff. Customers can submit samples to the core lab, where staff members process samples for digestion, cleaning and run mass spectrometry analysis.

- Agilent 6430 Triple Quadrupole LC/MS,
- Agilent 6538 Ultra High Definition Accurate-Mass Q-TOF LC/MS system
The service center’s Image Oriented Navigation Laser Microdissection Device (ION LMD Pro) can produce quality material for extensive and varied DNA, RNA and protein analyses. The ION LMD Pro enables a wide range of applications from single-cell isolation to large biopsy extractions, even with fluorescence-labeled cells or tissue. Customer training is available for the ION LMD Pro. Upon training completion, customers can operate the equipment.
Manuscripts and grant writing support
Assistance is available for collaborative manuscripts and grant writing for internal and external applications. Our efforts have led to several scientific publications including, “Improving vascular maturation using non-coding RNAs increases anti-tumor effect of chemotherapy” in临床调查杂志见解and funding awards like “Discovery of Novel Pathways Leading to Delayed Cerebral Ischemia after Subarachnoid Hemorrhage” from the National Institutes of Health and Center for Clinical and Translational Sciences.
